Directions To Black Island via Superior WI and Baudette, MN

Take Hwy 2 North through Superior and continue on to Deer River, MN. Take Highway 46 North to Northhome. Go west on Highway 1 for a short jog to Shooks and Highway 72. Go North on 72 to Baudette and Highway 11. The border crossing at Baudette, MN/Rainy River, ON is just of of Highway 11. Please give us a call from the border area so that we can estimate your time of arrival at the dock. From Rainy River, take Hwy 11 east for about 5 miles to Highway 621. Go North on 621 for about 30 miles to “Gill’s Marine” where you will find our dock. We’ll meet you there!

Directions To Black Island via Duluth, MN and International Falls

Take Hwy 53 North through Duluth and continue on to International Falls, MN/Fort Frances, ON is just off of highway 11. Please give us a call from the border area so that we can estimate your time of arrival at the dock. From Fort Frances, take Highway 11 west (about 1 hour) to Highway 621. Go North on 621 for about 30 miles to “Gill’s Marine” where you will find our dock. We’ll meet you there!
